Start in front of the elevator, walk into the elevator until the doors close and elevator moves down. 2. Wait for the S.T.A.T. to appear, stand on the marker, look through the viewer and click. 3. Read the analysis: it says to stop the elevator by hacking it, then escape to the elevator roof. Click. 4. Looking at the elevator control panel, press 'E' to hack it and stop the elevator. 5. (Hacking puzzle is available if code 'puzzle' is typed beforehand; either way the elevator is stopped) 6. The elevator ceiling hatch can be opened. Look at the hatch in the ceiling and press 'E' to open it. 7. With that open, jump by pressing SPACE, and climb by pressing forward ('W' or Arrow Up) to the roof. 8. From here, press SPACE to jump over a small ridge in the middle, and go toward the other elevator shaft. 9. Jump down to a beam between the elevator shafts, and see the other elevator car pass by. 10. Look across the other elevator shaft and see a spot light and short vent door on the far wall. 11. Either hold SHIFT to run and jump across the shaft, or jump down to an intermediate beam to the left. 12. Get to the vent under the spot light against the far wall. Look at the vent and press 'E' to open it. 13. Hold 'C' to crouch, and crawl into the vent by pressing forward ('W' or Arrow Up). Continue crawling. 14. Continue through the vent, pressing and holding 'C' when you need to duck and move forward. 15. The vent door at the end will open, revealing an open area with a long walkway ahead. 16. The S.T.A.T. will appear at the far end of the long walkway overlooking the loading bay below. 17. At the other end of the walkway, jump up on the small ledge, and activate the S.T.A.T. analysis. 18. The analysis says to use stealth moves by holding 'C' while jumping down and stealth killing a robot. 19. Hold 'C' and move forward to jump down quietly. Move through the crates while holding 'C' to stay quiet. 20. Wait while crouched, to the right, before the corner to the open loading bay. You should be hidden. 21. The Sentry robot will continue its patrol and return again over time. Wait for the right time to attack. 22. The best time is when it has returned and stopped, the robot will turn and stop, giving you more time. 23. While still holding 'C', move close to the robot, and its KILL SWITCH will appear on its back. 24. While still holding 'C', press 'E' to flip the KILL SWITCH on the robot's back. You get an energy gun. 25. If you miss, and the robot leaves, just return to the hiding spot and try again next patrol pass. 26. With the energy gun, you are able to attack the other two patrol robots, one by one. 27. Robots will hear you if you're not crouched and close. If they hear you, they will close and attack. 28. In combat, you can fire and move. Keep moving to avoid enemy shots. Shots do explosive damage. 29. In combat, keep your sights on your target with the mouse, and you can move to the side, left or right. 30. Once both remaining robots are defeated, you can continue toward the blast door on the far side. 31. The S.T.A.T. will appear at the blast door control panel. Activate the S.T.A.T. analysis and read it. 32. The analysis says the door can't be opened, but to find another way, because a security room is close. 33. Jump up on top of crates stacked on the back wall, and make your way up to a vent door in the corner. 34. Looking at the vent, press 'E' to open, move forward to climb, and hold 'C' to crouch and crawl inside. 35. ... to SECTION 2 == SECTION 2 == 1. Crawl forward through the vents, there are openings to fans and you can see enemy patrols below. 2. The S.T.A.T. will appear in the vent. Activate the S.T.A.T. analysis and read it. 3. The analysis says this area is dangerous, so move on. (You are automatically stealth moving in vents) 4. Make your way to another vent door. It will open when approached, revealing the security room below. 5. The S.T.A.T. will appear at the vent edge. Activate the S.T.A.T. analysis and read it. 6. The analysis says this security control room to make your way to the panels on the far side of the room. 7. You can either proceed with brute force, with your gun, or with stealth by holding 'C', staying silent. 8. [STEALTH] Wait and notice the patrol below, weaving between the server boxes. It will return and loop. 9. [STEALTH] The best time to jump out is after the robot has weaved through the first row of server boxes. 10. [STEALTH] Hold 'C' while moving forward to get down behind another robot. Stealth kill close with 'E'. 11. [STEALTH] Continue holding 'C' while you make your way to the control panels on the far side. 12. [STEALTH] A robot is at one of the control panels, facing away. Sneak up and stealth kill with 'E'. 13. [STEALTH] The patrol is likely to return. Get ready for combat, you can fire at the robot's "feet". 14. Another robot patrolling on the other side of this room. You can wait and shoot them from a distance. 15. Alternately, you can engage among the server boxes. Either way, make sure this last one is defeated. 16. The S.T.A.T. will appear at a security control panel. Activate the S.T.A.T. analysis and read it. 17. The analysis says this panel can disable the security systems that call robot reinforcements. 18. The analysis says you can hack the system at this panel by pressing 'E'. Click. 19. Press 'E' to hack the panel. The security system lights will stop, flash red, and it will power down. 20. The S.T.A.T. will appear near the exit on the far side. Activate the S.T.A.T. analysis. 21. The analysis says the next area is a large observation deck with a lot of enemy robots. 22. The analysis says you can either proceed through blast doors directly ahead, or by climbing a ladder. 23. The ladder to the right will lead to a vent (open with 'E') and on though a walkway to more vents. 24. The blast door will lead to a more open area with large windows and a blast door to the right. 25. The vents will lead to the Mezzanine deck above, the blast door will lead to the main floor. 26. Either route will lead to the section 3, but one is more for stealth, the other more for combat. 27. ... to SECTION 3 == SECTION 3 == 1. The vent door (Mezzanine) or blast door will open, revealing multiple robots guarding and patrolling. 2. The S.T.A.T. will appear below. Hold 'C' to stealth move to it, and activate the S.T.A.T. analysis. 3. The analysis says there are energy boxes that are unstable and will explode if hit by energy shots. 4. The analysis says the robot patrols can see each other more easily here, so progress will be difficult. 5. The analysis says you should stay silent as long as you can, while making your way to the far side. 6. The analysis says, regardless of how silent you are, prepare carefully for the robots on the far side. 7. Because robots have overlapping patrols, they are more likely to spot you as you attack another. 8. Observe the robots carefully and seek weak points in the defenses, seek good times to attack. 9. Try to take out as many robots one-by-one as you can before getting to the blast door on the far side. 10. If you stop sneaking or fire, prepare for robots to hear you, be more on alert, and possibly close in. 11. If you enter combat, use cover of the columns and crates by standing or crouching behind them. 12. In combat, be aware of multiple enemies coming to join the fray from different angles. 13. Beware of energy boxes that are hit and energized to explode, you will have about 5 seconds to move away. 14. If you see energy boxes near an enemy, you can hit it to explode and damage them too. 15. The area has lifts that will be called if you stand near the edge, and will move if you stand on them. 16. Once you've reached the blast door on the far side, press 'E' to open it - but beware, it's an ambush. 17. Multiple Sentry robots will be behind cover and a new robot, a "Bomber", will attack. 18. The bomber will charge you, charge up when close, and explode. Just keep your distance and shoot it. 19. The other robots can be engaged by using the blast doorway as cover; to fire and recharge the gun. 20. Once all the ambush robots are defeated, you can get to the further blast door 21. ... to SECTION 4 == SECTION 4 == 1. The blast doors will open to a busy factory, with machinery and walkways and a large window to the left. 2. The S.T.A.T. will appear nearby to show you the view out the window. Activate the S.T.A.T. analysis. 3. The analysis says the tower seen outside the window is your objective, and there is a bridge to it. 4. The analysis says the robot defenses here are hardened and difficult, to be prepared for combat. 5. The analysis says this factory has "affordances" available to help you; this means things you can use. 6. Descend the stairs to the right and note the tall console in the corner with a bright yellow pad. 7. Stand on the pad, and an energy box will be used to charge up your energy gun (and restore full health). 8. The factory floor has many large moving parts, that will make it difficult to shoot through. 9. These moving parts will also make it difficult for robots to shoot through, so use them as moving cover. 10. As you progress, robots will take positions, charge or otherwise try to stop you. They will use cover. 11. Sentries fire at you from different angles, above and below. Bombers will charge. 12. There is a walkway in the center of the factory that has a charging bomber and a Sentry. 13. Then, beware of a Sentry firing at you from below. But, it's position is near a pile of energy boxes. 14. Shoot one of the boxes and stand clear of any that are thrown your way once that one explodes. 15. Finish off that robot, if not already defeated. Then, be careful of another underneath the walkway. 16. Jump down or quickly descend the stairs and fire at him. A bomber is nearby and ready to charge as well. 17. Recharge your gun (and health) at the charging station console before moving on. 18. The remaining robots on the floor will be fortified in the far corner, but some will charge you soon. 19. On your way to that corner, be aware of another Sentry high up on a stairwell firing from above. 20. These robots will be behind cover unless they've charged, so use the factory parts as moving cover. 21. Go up the stairwell. If running, you will hear more robots that are alerted once they hear you. 22. Near the top of the stairs, you may be shot at, and you can try to shoot back before reaching the top. 23. At the top, a sqaure room is filled with cover blocks, and there are four Sentry robots here to defeat. 24. Once the room is entered, the doors will close. At that point, run to the recharge station available. 25. During your recharge, a first wave of robots will appear from behind blast doors on the far side. 26. At the same time, a smaller wave of robots will appear on a balcony above you, able to fire from above. 27. Use cover blocks, keep moving and take out the four robots on the floor first. Make use of the recharger. 28. Try to stay out of sight of the balcony robots, but eventually you will need to take them out too. 29. Once the floor robots are defeated a second wave will appear from the blast doors; three Bombers. 30. This is a good time make sure you're recharged, and keep your distance as you shoot the Bombers. 31. Once the balcony robots are defeated, another final wave will appear, and it's a big one. 32. Two more Sentries will come out of the floor blast door, three more balcony robots and two new robots. 33. From two corner trap doors in the floor, platforms carrying "Turret" robots will appear. 34. Turret robots are much tougher and have a rapid fire gun that shoots smaller shots very quickly. 35. Stay recharged, use cover, use the recharger for cover, and take out all the robots one-by-one. 36. There is one tall cover block in the center of the room that is best to use while attacking Turrets. 37. That said, the other robots, especially the balcony Sentries, can fire at you from other angles. 38. Once all the robots are defeated, the door to the bridge will show green lights, meaning it's unlocked. 39. Approach the blast door to the bridge 40. ... to SECTION 5 == SECTION 5 == 1. The blast doors will open to a long area with flights of stairs leading up and down, and cover blocks. 2. Almost immediately, the S.T.A.T. will appear directly in front of you. Step forward to activate it. 3. The analysis is almost useless, it says there is no data and simply recommends caution for enemy forces. 4. In front of you, there are enemies close by, on the stairs, on the landings above and directly in front. 5. However, by the time the S.T.A.T. analysis is done, a new wave of Bombers will approach from the rear. 6. The flood of Bombers will close in, and you can engage by retreating to the room from section 4 end. 7. That room still contains a recharger and plenty of cover blocks. You should be able to survive easily. 8. Or, you can simply close this door before they approach, as there is a door panel inside to the left. 9. Either way, inside the bridge area, your time to react will be limited before enemy Sentries notice you. 10. You may be able to sneak forward and stealth kill the Sentry directly in front, as it is turned away. 11. Be aware that the Sentries on the stairs and landings will have lines of sight to you as you approach. 12. Stairs going up lead to a long walkway high above this area, stretching the all the way to the back. 13. The walkway has cover blocks to use against patrolling Sentries, Bombers and two Turrets on the sides. 14. However, this walkway will breakaway and fall once you walk 1/3 of the way, leaving a chasm to jump. 15. Or, you can start this are by going down the stairs, into an area with several cover blocks. 16. This area is heavily fortified with Bombers, Sentries and two Turrets on large blocks in the center. 17. There is no way up on the far end of this area, and to the right, there is a stack of energy boxes. 18. However, there is also a single recharger here, at the far end of this area, to the left. 19. Use the cover blocks, and take your time, to shoot enemy forces one-by-one as you make your way back. 20. Be aware that enemy forces are placed to ambush you while you're engaging other forces in this area. 21. Either way you start, the walkway is the way forward, and when it falls, it falls on a Turret below. 22. You can jump the walkway chasm with a running jump, or use the broken railings to get across easier. 23. There is still a cover block on this broken walkway piece, so use it on enemy forces at the far side. 24. The far side enemy forces will be up on landings, on the far stairs, and down at ground level. 25. These forces include Bombers and Sentries and will be able to use cover blocks and debris. 26. If you made the walkway fall before engaging the forces below, look out for fire from behind as well. 27. If you need to, remember the area below has a recharger available, but that means you will backtrack. 28. Once the far side enemies are done and you can reach the far side, the S.T.A.T. appears. 29. The S.T.A.T. appears at the controls of the far side blast doors. Activate the S.T.A.T. analysis. 30. The analysis says the blast doors must be hacked, this is the final hacking puzzle opportunity. 31. Press 'E' at the door panel to hack the doors. And once completed, the doors will open to the tower. 32. ... to BOSS BATTLE == BOSS BATTLE == 1. The large gallery is lined by columns and ends in another blast door. The room is otherwise empty. 2. The blast doors will close behind you once you step inside the gallery. 3. A few moments later, the far side blast doors will open, with flashing red lights on either side. 4. The boss will enter the room, and the blast doors will close behind, trapping you inside with the boss. 5. Look closely: the boss is a collection of heavy assault parts seen in the factory of section 4. 6. The boss will tower over you, roll on huge treads and wield two large guns on each arm. 7. The boss will fire its guns for a time if you are close, which means you best bet is long range attacks. 8. The boss has thick armor, and its chest will be protected by an energy shield that prevents all damage. 9. However, the boss arms are not protected by the chest shield, and can be damaged, shedding armor plates. 10. The boss will move and react slower than other enemies, and it is too big to maneuver in tight spaces. 11. Use these qualities to your advantage, and concentrate energy gun fire at the boss' shoulders. 12. Once shoulder armor is depleated, an energy box will be exposed. Shoot it and the arm will be destroyed. 13. The boss is still able to fire. Keep your distance, use the columns for cover, and take out the other. 14. Once both shoulders have exploded, with the arms destroyed, the boss will lose its chest energy shield. 15. With the chest shield down, the armor plating on the chest is vulnerable to energy gun attacks. 16. However, the boss will employ a new attack, a rapid fire stream of shots from the center of its chest. 17. Maintain your distance and wear down the boss' armor plating on its chest to expose a final energy box. 18. Shoot the chest energy box to cause it to overload and explode. The boss explosion will be big! 19. Once the 'dust settles' the far side blast door red flashing lights will stop, and the doors will open. 20. Approach the blast door at the back of this opening 21. ... to END CREDITS Thanks for playing!
